Here's a chart of the SOXX, check out 1996, Niles and some others mentioned before, pop in April, then to new lows by June, just like in 1996, we'll see if that turns out to be about right or not.

Paul, BKX is a leading indicator for me on many fronts..watch JPM " THe Derivitive King"... I smell something very fishy going on in the banking sector.... as for the .50 FOMC cut... I think your intuiton is right.
