After Wednesday’s close, Broadcom [BRCM] posted first-quarter results that met expectations, but the company said it continues to see weakness in the communications sector and visibility hasn't improved. Revenue came in below estimates. Sierra Wireless [T.SW] after Wednesday’s close reported first-quarter earnings of US$0.04 a share, matching the First Call consensus estimate.
