Gottfried, According to the DW report it was at 47.7% or 0.3% away from a reversal into a column of "x's" for a Bull Alert. I rounded it off to 48%. Thanks.

Paul

Gottfried,
It looks to me like the "leaders" are coming out of this tech wreck in generally better shape than the competition---amat, intc, msft, ibm and now nokia. That cisco write off will produce some glaring upside surprises for them next year. Why are the bears so shocked that the written off inventory will be used thus increasing margins?
The cisco news is really what got this market going. Barring a severe recession, many of the old leaders will have increased market share. If AG's medicine causes this period to have just been an inventory correct(albeit a major one), we could be off to the races. AG's medicine is designed to shore up consumer/investor sentiment. Combine this will lovely spring days coming to NY, you CA bears may be becoming psychology impaired by the "electricity" problem and now a Hollywood strike just as we NY'rs were during this horrific winter.
Gottfried, Let me know when you think it might be time to take some chips off the table. mike
