It is earnings of MSFT NOK IBM that are saving these markets, AG was wrong before he is wrong now. But when last year market thought that interest rate hikes will not impact the economy, I was totally in the opposite camp my call of diversion from NAZ to DOW was based on old economy helps live the new economy, AG hikes last year killed that old economy but it survived the blatant attacks due to attractive valuations, now interest rate cuts will help the old economy in turn that old economy money will bring new life to the new economy and NAZ is ripe for reovery. The biggest benefactor of all these cuts will telcos nad that is what is going to happen,if NOK MSFT IBM can weather this 6 months slow down well, what they are goign to do globally in next few months with narrowing of the gaps is osme one guess, these sectos are very sensitive to interest rates and they will with better rating of their debt and narrowing of the yiled shall do well..fwiw
