John

I remember when some people slammed the company in 94 and said they wouldn't touch it. I had a very large long position in Cisco at the time and thought those folks were nuts. Boy did they ever miss out on the best investment of the 90's!

Some people just don't get it!

regards,

Eric

Well put, although I disagree.

<<Nobody knows for sure, but I like the upside potential 2-3 years out at current levels. In my estimation, the upside/downside ratio for that time frame is far greater than 1. I like those odds for now, at least in my IRA I do.>>

one of the flies in the ointment there is that if csco begins to rise, lots of folks who got in at much higher levels, including funds and instituions, will be selling to book decreased losses. So the hammer continues to hang continuously over csco stock. It's a classic malady of fallen stars.

And all the while, worthy competitors keep biting at different portions of csco's business, yet csco has neither the cash nor the stock price to buy them out.

And lots of tech companies are in the same creaky boat.

All the best, John
