I see no reason why.
The Dharma are simply the teachings/scriptures of Buddha, either of training or realization. The teachings of Buddhism seem anti-purposeful to me. They are whatever you come to find they are. You could make them purposeful, you could follow others in some perceived purpose, but it isn't necessary to do so. Which doesn't seem the last bit purposeful to me. In Buddhism there is no minimum. That's the great thing about it. I am sure there is a minimum for some people. It is possible to limit anything. But it is unnecessary. There might be a purpose there might not be. In a world where our ability to know is so limited, a purpose of the Dharma might be "no purpose".
