The truth is that the economy thrived because Clinton was not able to do anything. The economy adapts very well to just about any steady state. It is only when the government manages to screw things up that the economy falters.

Keep dreaming the GOP had anything to do with 8 years of prosperity. Rubin's plan worked and CLinton was 100% with him on it. Give credit where credit's due once in awhile.
