Neo, Unemployment and inflation are lower now than at any time under Reagan or Bush Sr. There never was anything wrong with the economy. AG pushed interest rates too far for a while, and has since corrected. Nothing Bush did has had any positive influence on the economy. He did screw up the markets by being constantly negative. In 1987, the country faced a similar circumstance. Reagan told Wall Street to quit acting like babies. Bush took a different approach and chose to fan the fire. Scumbria
