11:17 ET Brocade Comms (BRCD) 35.90 +4.56 (+14.6%): -- Update -- Banc of America Sec. upgrades to BUY from Mkt Perform; feels that business conditions at BRCD are near a bottom; signs of a bottom are consistent with firm's industry/channel checks as well as what other infrastructure companies have been seeing.

Upgrades - this is all bull$^$t. They want the stock up so they upgrade using any reason (in this case margins at 60%) inspite of 30% lower salesa dn 50% lower profits.

Once they get their customers out, they will downgrade this sucker. these anal-ists now seem to be up and downgrading couple of times a week.
