I think you should have kept the short - awfully hard way to make $500! :)

But I only look very short term. I think you could have made quite a bit more on your short next week. I was expecting a gap-up today, and then a pullback. Unfortunately, I didn't get the gap-up. I sold my April 30 calls on the open for $1.95. (Paid 2.50). That's OK, because I made a bundle on April 22.5 calls the evening of earnings. (Just wish I hadn't exercised/sold after the news, and held for THAT gap the next morning, LOL!)

But if you were looking at a longer-term short (next couple of months) I would say that the jury is out, and you may have done the right thing. And certainly if you were basing it on fundamentals and thought the earnings were too favorable.

I am looking to see if we form another flag here. If we do, I think you will see one mother of a rally coming out of the flag. I also think it's quite possible we will see new lows.

I think a move to NASDAQ 2700 after a rest. And then 2700 will be a critical juncture beyond which I don't feel there is a lot of vision.
