Well, I don't think it is a felony that will be punished as there are many clueless people out there spouting stuff they don't understand. I think it DOES detract from the credibility of the poster and we will remember in the future.

Many of the bears on Cisco (and IBM, etc.) were accusing them of accounting fraud on the message boards for some time. One thing I really like about THIS board is we have enough good people like Katherine and yourself (to name two of MANY) that help explain what is REALLY happening....

BTW, I agree 100% with what Katherine and others have said. One of Japan's biggest problems was they were carrying bloated values for assets on their books and it made their banks look better than they were and they STILL have to take action to write off bad loans/assets before they will recover.
