Shack:

Yea I am aware of the ABX problems and have a tight stop on it. TVX used to be one of my favorites for a decade and even nibbled on it three times last month before the delisting, bondholders, Greek etc. problems, so turned to ABX for first round. You have instilled a kernel in me now that says I should just look at PDG long naked calls. Thanks.

Bob

High Kirby,

Second that on the hedge . Actually PDG is not without sin either. Used be my fav big gold. They were working on closing their book but....

'In February 2000, Placer Dome announced it would cease
adding new hedge positions and thereby reduce its overall
level of committed gold ounces by two million over the
course of the year. The Corporation met this target as of
December 31, 2000 reducing its committed ounce position
to 7.7 million ounces. The current position is 7.5 million
ounces.'
