Even limited to that there is some evidence that there has not been any significant warming. Data taken from different sources do not agree and the older temperature data is unreliable. The best evidence might be the retreat of the glaciers.

Whether or not climatologists have a consensus that warming has happened goes back to the question of how consensus is defined. I would guess that by your definition (75%+ agreement) there is a consensus, by Karen's there is not.

When you say "whether or not there had been warming" are you referring to any warming at all (say 0.1c over the last hundred years) or only a significant amount of warming?
