Michael,

The Balanced Budget Amendment was a smokescreen for the worst violators. Reagan supported the Amendment- what a joke.

The budget got balanced under Clinton. He pushed the 1993 bill, and stopped the Gingrich income tax cuts.

Give credit where it is due.

Afraid you're wrong here big fella....the man finished with the highest approval rating of any president in history including St. Reagan, Bush Sr. , and Eisenhower.

Also, since you've mentioned it several times, would you please tell us how capital gains tax reductions
balance a budget?

And on the issue of constitutional amendments, how many amendments did the "Republic" party try to pass in the last few years? I thought the constitution was sacred to conservatives....
