"Unravelling the mechanism of the allosteric behaviour of
the GroEL/GroES complex not only provides an exceptional
example of the regulation of a biological process," said
Chris Dobson, of Oxford University, and president of the
Protein Society, "It also allows a vast amount of biochemical
and structural data on this remarkable 'protein folding
machine' to be explained and rationalized."

That rationalization will be, IMO, the single most enchanting pursuit in biology/biophysics/chemistry since Watson and Crick.
