Did you ever see Zero with John Cippolina?
They did mostly instrumentals, great stuff.
Steve's and John's interaction was breathtaking.
They really inspired each other.

Kimock has his core set of tunes from his Zero days, KVHW, and some jazz takes from folks like Wayne Shorter. Pretty much improvisational free form jazz/funk. I've found the more I listen to his stuff, the more it sticks in my head & the more I appreciate it. Kimock's not too flashy and a lot of times his playing is almost understated.
