Jim, the "[ushed too far" K6-2 was the "CXT" core.

In retrospect, Intel shouldn't have cancelled it, but probably it was just execution of the concept that was bad. Was it going to be a 0.18u chip? They should have been able to fit that thing on 140mm or less and have had it out before the Duron, effectively killing Duron.

Well, we almost managed to kill Duron without Intel's help, but I think Duron will be important in Q2/Q3.
