I didn't catch the lows, but still think I got a decent price....especially if she performs well......lets assume 5 years from now the stock is way up there...or not way up there, but nice appreciation.....who cares if you bought at $7 or $12 if it's a $50 or $100 stock......sure, thats a nice clip, especially if your buying a boatload, but the bottom line is if a stock appreciates nicely, a few bucks differance in cost basis wont make that big a deal. in fact, many people would rather buy higher after they have seen the trend reversed. i know many like that. They dont mind missing the bottom, they will pay a few bucks more for the piece of mind that they are not catching a falling knife. Now as far as OCPI goes, well, they are performing very well and thats what counts, especially in this economic environment. Optical is not going anywhere. folks that arent jumping on stocks like jdsu, ocpi and some of the others, will be sorry one day, unless we stay in a 20 year bear market in which case every stock and very sector is screwed. You have gambles like corv, but heck, they still aint makin money....ocpi is, and is kicking butt in all area's.....no guarantee's...only time will tell. I'm in OCPI, but honestly am hoping for a dip down to 7 where I will grab some more for a long term hold....if she doesnt get there and stays in an upward trend which the charts suggest, I'll be happy with that as well<ggg>....It's funny how much of a crapshoot investing has become......I mean, ocpi has gone up nicely, as has the naz. OCPI's charts show it in breakout move with strong buy signals. But I honestly couldn't tell you if I thought it would sell off some, or continue upward......short term, it's anybodies guess. But Long term, I do like the stock very much, so I aint gonna worry about it too much...if it goes up, i am onboard and will enjoy the ride...if it goes down, i will buy some more and enjoy the next ride up even more<ggg> I notice even some of my crap stocks had huge % gains today like icge and insp. I have such low cost basises on them due to trading them both, I'm just gonna let them sit and see what they do....either bankruptcy or huge gains for both within 5 years......... have a good weekend keith
