Greta, The USSC had no business interfering in a matter of the State of Florida. Their excuse (inconsistent vote counting methodology) was ludicrous, because every county in the country has their own inconsistent counting criterion. If the USSC was serious about equal protection, they should have thrown the election out and ordered a new one under strict guidelines. The only reason the USSC got involved was because they knew if they didn't, Gore would win. Had it been the other way, do you honestly believe Scalia would have voted they way he did? Scumbria
