I took mediation in law school. I am an excellent mediator. You may find that hard to believe. But it's true anyway. Or you may not find that hard to believe. And it would still be true.

Plaintiffs hate mediation. Here when you sue somebody prior to discovery or pretrial it is ordered by legislation that you must first get a mediation ticket. I asked a mediator out of several hundred mediation sessions how many had settled, he said "zero, but there is hope". We had a lot of laughs with the East Indian mediator while waiting for the other party.
