What a difference a few months make. Shrub's seat in Austin is barely cold and I am hearing about grappling with the revenue shortfall that Texas is now saddled with because of "exhuburant" tax cuts and the possibility of abolishing the death penalty in Texas. I just saw a headline for the early edition Sunday paper that the Legislature wants to overhaul the judicial system to de-emphasize being tough on criminals and emphasize the "f" word. You know, fairness. Hmm, maybe Perry is not as bad as I thought...
