That call intentionally spans an earnings period that was pre-announced as a disaster, and was calculated to be a hedge rather than a pure income generating play. It, too, was conceived with the expectation that Greenspan would not yield to pressure from the street and surprise. Since expiry isn't until May 18, isn't it a bit early to evaluate its effectiveness? Note: I hold the same position. duf
