Everyone I know has a 401K. Its possible that this is simply my world. Is there any breakdowns available on the origin of the money that is in the market. Flint

That's why the top 1% of income earners pays over 30% of income taxes and the top 20% pay approx. 60%.Why else would anybody be stupid enough to support the current Social Security program?knc you need to distinguish between Federal taxes on the one hand and FICA/payroll/self-employment taxes on the other. Your average Joe pays more FICA than Fed taxes, and the collective FICA/payroll payments of Average Joes exceeds that of Rich Bills.
