CB, I would agree that I seem to be very pessimistic and closed minded - I am! but I have considered the bullish case over the years and would sum it up as history may not repeat but it does rhyme. I have also realized as Keynes said there is nothing more dangerous than a rational investment policy in an irrational market. Remember much of what you hear about the markets and economy comes from those who have a vested interest in the continuation of the bull market. My prediction is that by years end most people will be shocked by the magnitude of economic contraction. Mike
