Not too many surprises in the mkts this week. Seems neutral to slight bearish going into next week as all eyes I am sure will be on the next indicators of the economy which appear to be weakening and many will have their hands on the sell at the earliest signs of a turn to keep their recent profits. I suspect Monday will be significant as in the absence of any US economic figure out, it will also set the trend for the week. I called in a few puts on Friday, as some stocks look again prime for a hair cut, and am holding JDSU long for an anticapation of a solid earnings. I should be able to dig up something here, and will post any findings. The F/O mkt will surely move in sympathy.
Was out most of the day Friday, though did return to find the fedex man waiting with my new toy. Was a bit disappointed in the quality of the components of DELL 8100 P4 with 500+ DRAM. The CD/burner/DVD don't fit the slots and the casing is poorly fitted. In fairness, they did offer a $400 rebate or a new system paid and delivered. Running win2000 O/S it appears quite stable. One feature I do recommend is the scroll wheel on the mouse. When I remember it is there, it does seem to shave off a few seconds scrolling posts etc.... Working on the TCP/IPs on a new D-Link router with DSL hook up. DSL has been working like a charm so no need to go with a T-1 though the idea has entered my mind. The router will allow me to drop the cable I have used as a back up but was never satisfied using it. Replacing a few monitors with 21" Dell , but again, the casing looks second rate compared to the Sonys and Samsungs. Back to work, lata...
Peace out..

You ask, "Why look backward when techs were 60-99.5%
higher?" -- You can't compare the prices at the top
because they were NOT REASONABLE. They were total
DREAMLAND prices!
