LOR upgraded last month by Smith-Barney with target of $6. Now selling at $1.5. It was also upgraded by another major house (can't remember which) target $3 which is very conservative and short-term. Neither price takes into account a probable buy-out or merger/alliance this year. Alcatel, QCOM, LMT are all partners and potential suitors.

LOR's just a company that needs to get to the next step (post-Globalstar) to unlock its $9 minimum value again. Without G in the picture LOR's annual revenues are three times its market cap. Actually G is out of the picture now after the 1 billion write-off. But the market hasn't caught that yet. They're still treating LOR like it's saddled with G. So you profit from that ignorance and extremely irrational exhuberance by shorts.

Globalstar popped big the other day leading me to believe that despite bankrupcy risk a deal may be happening there. Rumor QCOM will buy it as it fits into their longerm plans and they already have sunk money into it. But we'll see. In any case LOR will soon be freed of G and be re-fueled. Short-covering alone will get it over $2 and %3.5-$5 is my target.
