The national treasures include our oil and mining companies, since they employ tens of thousands who would otherwise be dependent on the corrupt liberal government. The bureaucracies worshipped by the Clintons and their hangers-on are a national cancer, destroying far too large a chunk of what is produced in the honest (i.e., private) sector. Sooner or later, the cancer gets treated. The only question is will it be the earlier easy way, or the hard way after they have done close to fatal damage. We still have time to treat the public cancer before it becomes dominant.
