Mary Jane,
I believe T's plan is to breakup into 4 independent companies this year. However, these 4 independent companies will likely do spinoffs themselves. So essentially in a year or two what was once 1 company (T) will likely be 8-12 separately traded companies. DNB which was 1 company in 1996 is now 8-12 companies now with 4-fold the market cap.
get the picture?

By the way I see you follow CMGI. I think you may want to consider buying VCNT which is 17% owned by CMGI. VCNT is trading at 50% of net cash value. great value
