Ish,

If you bothered to look at the link I provided, you would have seen that plants are a net sink of CO2.

Remember that most of the plants are located in the ocean. Many of them become absorbed into calcium carbonate precipitate deposits on the ocean floor, and obviously do not decay into gaseous CO2.
