Hey G,
Look at NT and what they said at earnings...

Could be Green, carving up NTs division, wireless stands alone, up 38% for the quarter. All the others were down substantially including FO.

Becareful with any long in storage, or chips.

I actually like the storage and am bullish on BRCD, though it has to pull back. MCDT is second tier and doesn't deserve its mkt cap.

Semis will eventually be in everything we use, but again, only the strongest will survive. Mitel produces as many chipsets as does PMCS so these two have to meet up somewhere. Another Canuck stock Mosaid, is on a roll with similar patent rights as RMBS, but so far no challenges. Keep on eye on it.

SOX we could retest the lows faster then many realize!

The SOX will lead the way, up down or side to side...

Personally the last 2 weeks were a total set up by some select few on the street.

Maybe, but I am not one to believe that EVERYTHING is a set up. There was enough data to give Greenie reason NOT to back himself into a corner come next fed meeting, so the rate cut on Thursday was not totally unexpected. Certain stocks are compelling on a valuation basis and nothing trades in one direction for ever. Nobody wants to be the last one standing in the station when the train pulls out so yes someone will be holding the bag when the mkts retreat.
I have closed out most of the few longs I did scalp, and have bought May slightly out of the money puts on a bunch of techs. Still lots of capital to play, though I believe Monday will set the tone for the rest of the week so am ready to play it both ways.
Hope everyone is liquid and ready to move.
Lets trade smart.
S

From an FA point of view, the SOX had no reason to explode like it did last week.. so was it real or just short covering??
