tiger, please read newVision's post, I think he states it so well, the trend has reversed, and it is going up at the moment. Who knows for how long.. But the way to make money right now is to not fight it. The link to that post:

I realize people don't like the word "momentum" but it was proved going up and coming down. There seems to be no reason for it to change now...at least until it hits a range somewhere near the middle of the lows and highs of the last 52weeks (away from either extreme)<<

The reporting companies gave the institutions plenty of ammunition for research updates, downgrades, and earnings revisions to take the market down in the coming weeks. They spike the market, play the "beat the street" bongos, and everyone follows. Then after the crap is reported, they start the other game. Lather, rinse, and repeat.
