This would be plain stoopid on Intel's part. If P4 is a dud in the corporate space and Intel wnats P4 to race with Athlon in the consumer space, would this war have a huge side effect, which is AMD would make a killing in the corporate space with HUGE price/performance advantages. All AMD has to do is to maintain the ASP above $80 for survival while Intel has to maintain its ASP at $160? $120? or even $80:^)?

The only scenario P4 can kill Athlon is Intel has a BETTER price/performance wunderchip than Athlon in the corporate space during a lasting bloody war. AMD would trade at its book value while every major fund is dumping Intel into water.

I am lost but I am not panic:^)
