I see that record shorting in early April article as very bullish. Still tons of shorts stuck out there in the red desperate to cover on any dip. Bulls are in the green this month and feeling no desperation at all. So why sell on a profit-taking day? Better to use their new profits to buy at a discount.

So just don't short any stocks bulls like to buy. Because as the article says guidance 6 months up the road is the key and hte majority now sees things as being very positive by 4th quarter. I don't know how many times I've heard that recently. My projections agree and I think they're conservative. By 4th quarter the average tech or telco stock will be up a minimum of 75% from last month's low and many double or triple. For instance, WCOM needs only 10 points to double from its low. It will get there. Maybe even this coming month. LU will triple probably. Maybe more. Dog LOR should make it back to $5 even without a buy-out so that's a quadruple. CSCO will make it back to $26 no problem. etc.
