"kinky" in other SEA countries is survival. You have to remove the US-puritan-sex-as-alien filter. Someday we (in the world) may all be able not to have to make these choices, maybe not. I definetly admit I can't try to start doing any triage on countries whose problems/solutions go against our own very different experiences. Where do we stop observing and start "helping"? Doing anything is simply more and more imperialism in another form (though it would never be admitted!) One idea might be slowing world population growth? I dunno- just a silly notion. I still am queasy about imposing ANY values. As for corporations, these are more ingrained every day, and have been fr many years. Right or wrong, there are just other priorities for me, that I see being addressed in this information age.
