Only a true Clinton lover would base the measurement of whether someone cares about the environment, on how large a government department they can grow.

Using your standard of excellence, why don't we just spend a trillion dollars on the Department of Energy. That would really show we care huh Scumbria? And the environment would be beautiful? No pollution at all, no Greenhouse effect, no arsin.

Just grow the Department Energy and our environmental concerns will evaporate!

74 billion dollars a year and what did Clinton get for it? Did he reduce CO2 emissions? Did he develop a sound Kyoto Treaty which could get one signature in the Senate?

Dole was right, close the Department of Energy and give tax incentives instead of wasting billions of dollars every year. After all, isn't the most important thing our national debt Scumbria??

I can think of another department which should be closed in order to save money and actually help accomplish our national improvement goals. The Department of Education (who's title is an oxymoron).

This may shock a clintonista like yourself Scumbria. But America actually survived without all these bureaucrats spending billions every year shuffling paper from one-stack to-another.
