LOR has written off Globalstar. That was the big 1 billion hit they took. The market doesn't seem to realize this and people are scared seeing that "loss" amount. It's simply a big bad investment they're writing off and it should be good for the stock not bad. Their satellites brought in 1.3 billion last year about three times their current market cap. They still haven't made a profit but were never projected to until 2002 at least. As they have shed Globalstar now the stock should be trading many times where it's at now. Their satellite fleet (2nd best in the world) is an assetyou won't find priced on their balance sheet. Two experts I have read put its value at around $12 a share. The stock is trading at $1.50, which is again a market cap of only 450 million or 4 MONTHS REVENUES! And they have 300 mill cash in the bank. This is a no-brainer. A big dog but the flea bath is finished and the dog is drying. Once groomed and poofed up she will be Best In SHow and worth $10 a share.
