Joe:

An edit and an off topic question. IFCI chart (30min) should have said 50 period is about to cross over 200 period rather than 50 or 50.....Yikes! Out too late last night.

Off topic...and I was trying to ask the same thing of Doc Borgan on MSN

eBay is flooded with lightning rod auctions of complete (rod, ball and weathervane) as well as various parts. My question is, are these older rods being replaced with some other form of protection? If so, is it simply surge protectors inline. I've bid on some of these things, complete, and some parts, at some pretty high prices. The average for a decent size, condition are in the 2 to 300 dollar range. They seem to be a pretty hot item as collectables. Opinions? Or, if ya have one laying around doing nothing, let me know........I want one for my barn!!!!
