brian, personally I don't have a problem with picks that are halted. From past experience on this thread I've noticed these halted stocks rarely do that well after they come off the halt. For some reason the market always seems to know and the news is priced into the stock before the halt. On halted stocks I have been using the closing price since there is no bid and ask.

If enough of the entrants on this thread want to stop the practice of allowing halted stocks in as picks, no problem, I will go with the majority.

To all threads participants:

Should the thread stop allowing halted stocks in as picks?

The majority of respondents will rule on this issue.

regards,
Al

Heh Brian:

It doesn't matter to me. Let Al decide how to price V.SOP. It's his thread and he is doing a great job with it.

V.CPR. I don't know when the buyout is going ot occur officially, but it is expected to happen before the end of May.
