Actually, I never said I was out back in March. I did sell some of my Cisco shares at $76, but not as many as I should have. In addition, the reason why I invest only 5% of my money in individual stocks is that the money we have is sweat money. I worked my ass off for it. It didn't come easy at all. I can't say I grew up in the worst circumstances, but when I graduated from undergrad, I owed $25K. Now I have a positive net worth that I'm proud of. I was a little more proud last March, but such is life. Anyway, I like you, take a very conservative approach to my sweat money. The 5% was my attempt at pretending I was smart enough to do it on my own. What I've realized is that on average, I do ok, but my mutual funds have done better than my own attempts. Anyway, good luck to us both. I'm sure we have the same goals.
