Well, of course, if the shares were directly owned, I do think he would be making a very informed decision. PhD, the Chairman, and--in retirement--a financial investor. At 70, though, he could have many kids, or trusts or foundations over which he has partial (at least for reporting purposes) control. I would rather see the VPs stepping up, especially the newer guys who might be thinking that the next option award at $23/share will not be enough to take advantage of these prices.

I also think the bears have been just as informed as insiders. <vbf> In retrospect, IMO, that BS troponin article was designed to shake the tree for those who already knew the endpoints were missed. And I bit on it, concluding the shorts had shown their hand and didn't know what they were doing. But they turned over some new cards that won the pot. For now.
