Here the drivers don't take people to their offices. Once you get close in there are buses, and the Metro. Try to imagine New York without the subway, or Chicago without the El. There's a commuter rail stop in my neighborhood, a Metro stop a few miles away, and two different bus lines stop a couple of blocks away.

If I had to commute to DC, no way I'd drive. It's a nightmare.
