ERICSSON: GROUP W/IN BOARD TO TRACK RESTRUCTURING PROGRAM (News agency Direkt) -- The Ericsson board has appointed a special group with the assignment of following the restructuring process within the company. The group will consist of Chairman Lars Ramqvist and board members Goran Lindahl, Sverker Martin-Lof and Eckhard Pfeiffer who all have experience of industrial corporate leadership. "It`s natural that the competence we have is used," Ericsson information director Pia Gideon told News Agency Direkt. The Wall Street Journal reported that several board members threatened with leadership changes if Ericsson`s result didn`t improve in the next coming months. At least one member has also demanded to meet with the Ericsson management group at least every other week.
