LONDON (CBS.MW) - Share of bellwether U.S. technology stocks were weaker in London trading with little interest seen emerging from buy-side institutions ahead of the open in New York.

Leading volumes, shares of Cisco Systems (CSCO: news, msgs, alerts) were down 35 cents to $18.80 and Intel Corp. (INTC: news, msgs, alerts) were off 93 cents to $31.50, according to market makers at Madoff Securities.

Elsewhere, shares of Oracle Corp. (ORCL: news, msgs, alerts) were down 50 cents in London to $19.25.
