Very shaky point there.

The Sandinistas won their revolution with virtually no help from outside, despite strong US support for the Somoza regime. Once they were the government, they had the right to invite advice and assistance from whoever they chose, unless you think the US is entitled to overthrow any government that has friends we don't like.

Do you honestly believe that the Sandinistas posed a threat to US security?
