Scumbria, RE: It is a rare event at Microprocessor Forum to have a speaker with an American accent. Many, many people with accents that are decidedly un-American consider themselves to be very true US citizens. Yet another thing that is wonderful about this country. Come to think of it, what exactly is an American accent? Maybe you're thinking of my grandfather, or his brother--of course, I don't think many people would recognize Choctaw to be an American accent.
