sure, that makes sense... there is that GAP from last
Wed on the NASD that's all the way back at 1900, don't
know if that gets filled or not.

This Argentina situation is bubbling below the surface....

If they devalue their currency that could give us a couple
of days of selling.

the former President down there is telling people to dump
their Peso's before the devaluation.

While we are still going over some of the weekend developments in Argentina, we would note that the Brazilian real is in a world of hurt once again this morning. Of course, comments from former Argentine President Carlos Menem certainly do not help, as he reiterated his controversial recommendation that Argentines should shift their pesos into dollars before the local currency is devalued. Also of concern, Central Bank President Pedro Pou and Economy Minister Domingo Cavallo are not getting along, as Cavallo wants Pou out before his term ends in 2004. Finally, the Argentine government said yesterday that it has decided to cancel today's planned auction of $350 mln in Treasury bills and $200 mln to $400 mln in Treasury bonds.
