As more people start carpooling, the need for carpool lanes diminishes because there are fewer cars on the road.

Fewer cars means faster commute times, which means cars spend less time on the road, further reducing traffic congestion.

BTW, did you notice that Kraemer is offering some price targets with precision to the penny. It is unfortunate that the number in front of the decimal place ranges as much as $185 from one mention to the next.
