Poet, you trading machine you.... -g- energy companies making the new highs today........ 13:50 ET New Highs : Energy companies riding strong earnings results to new 52-week highs. Among companies reporting today were Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Conoco (CON.B), both of which grew earnings by more than 50% and exceeded analysts' quarterly forecasts by a wide margin. Energy names on the high list: Texaco (TX), Tosco (TOS), Key Energy (KEG), Valero (VLO), Occidental Petroleum (OXY)... Other new high notables include retailer Hot Topic (HOTT) and used car dealer CarMax (KMX), which is trading at its best level in almost 3 yrs.
