'The Great Divorce' is among my very favorite books. Perhaps the favorite itself. Lewis certainly doesn't answer the question we are asking... You could use the book to support the idea of purgatory. Or you could decide that we are in that state now... The book jives with my general feeling that God is able to wed justice with mercy in his incomparable way. That in the end He both allows and enables us to make the right choice, and that to live outside his presence one must choose entirely to close his heart and turn ever inward. regards, cAPS PS: as soon as my domain name gets set up (switched) I will upload some more music!
