Horsegirl I do not see the bear threads all a flutter.
No gloating and message volume is down as well.

You are correct this is just one day.
The fact that it is just one day after what I will label as an insane runup, possibly suggests this is not the time to buy. Are we really only going to have only 1 down after these 100% gains then shoot back up?

Well I suppose anything is possible but 3 days of down consolodation would be more like it IMHO. They do not have to be consecutive, tomorrow could be a smaller up day I suppose followed by more of these. I would expect a retracement of at least 32% of that last move before we could have another leg up.

Buying here sure seem premature to me. In fact I added (small) to some now recovering puts. Fortunately my PUTs were all MAY so I have some time left to recover a bit more.

The bears are getting caught. They believe they still have the trend in the favor, but they don't anymore, they are just getting scraps at this point. Watch what happens during the rest of earnings season. If we get more rallies in the face of bad news or news from companies that are doing ok, then the rally will be real. No one should expect the market to go to the moon, but the real gains are always made in the beginning of new bull run. No body rings the bell at the bottom, you have to have patients, and be smart about it. It's obvious, repeatable through time, You don't buy when they are building plants right and left, you buy when they are laying people off. I spent the good part of four days talking about it now. I'm done talking about it, it's taking too much time away from what matters, making money. It's time for me to get to work.
